SA Team for Moscow selected

Thipe wins in Sweden

Friday, 15 June 2012 – Tsholofelo Thipe comfortably won the women’s 100m in very cold conditions at the Swedish Grand Prix in Goteborg on Thursday, 14 June.  The SA 100m champion beat Italian athlete Martina Giovanett and Folake Akinyemi from Sweden.  Thipe clocked 11.65sec with Giovanett and Akinyami finishing in 11.79sec and 11.90sec respectively.  South […]

Personal best for De Swardt in Rhede

Friday, 8 June 2012 – Jacques de Swardt clocked a new personal best of 46.06sec in the men’s 400m in Rhede, Germany on 7 June, finishing second.  His previous best (46.08sec) was set up in Germiston on 10 April 2010.
