Update on Postiive Dope Results of Harmony Athletes
Johannesburg, Monday, 28 November 2005 – The DC hearings for Merriam Mooki and Maxwell Zungu were held on Friday, 25 November, in Johannesburg. Both athletes had tested positive for the banned substance, 19-Norandrosterone.
The hearing for Maxwell Zungu was adjourned until 13 January 2006. The hearing of Edward Kgosiemang will also be heard on the same day.
Judgements in all cases (including that of Gladys Lukhwareni), has been reserved until evidence has been heard in all the cases of those athletes who tested positive.
Meanwhile ASA also announced that a hearing for Hezekiel Sepeng will take place in Johannesburg on Thursday, 01 December 2005.
