Just over 200 trail running enthusiasts could once again be part of the action at the TOTALSPORTS XTERRA Grabouw presented by REHIDRAT® SPORT on Saturday, 23 February 2013 by taking part in either a fun 5km or challenging 11km New Balance Trail Run presented by ISUZU. Umhlanga Tourism Liberty Trail Run
Hundreds of enthusiastic energetic early risers will take to the trails for the Umhlanga Tourism Liberty Trail Run / Walk on Sunday 16 December.
The annual run has two distances, the shorter 12km, a perfect distance for walkers and those that enjoy a gentle easy run or the longer 18km trail challenges the more hard-core adventure runners. The trails will offer a variety of terrain and landscapes, athletes will pace through the neighbouring residential area, turning into sugar cane fields, cross a shallow flowing river, weave through the bush and churn through the final gruelling stretch on the soft beach sand.
