The Lions Club of Franschhoek are hosting their inaugural Spring Trail Run on the 29th of September 2019. There are three distances namely 5Km, 10Km and 17Km. The trails are all on the magnificent wine farm, Glenwood, incorporating the surrounding mountails and views of the dams.

The Lions have commissioned Lance Pepper, of Run the Vines, to assist and ensure that the necessary expertise is on hand to ensure a smooth and succesful event.

Local business have all enthusiastically climbed on board with spot prizes of 3 course wine paired meals for two, weekend retreats for two, meals for two etc all to be randomly drawn and presented on the day. Winners will also receive prizes consisting of Glenwood wines and all runners completing the various courses will receive medals.

Wine, beer, coffee, water and light finger food will be on sale. Please note in order to ensure that our logistics run smoothly we are limiting entry’s to the first 300 people to book their places. All entries also receive a Goody Bag with various sponsors products.

All funds raised by this event are used by the Franschhoek Lions club to support various local initiatives in uplifting the community.
