Friday, 15 June 2012 – Tsholofelo Thipe comfortably won the women’s 100m in very cold conditions at the Swedish Grand Prix in Goteborg on Thursday, 14 June. Van Deventer misses Olympic qualifier

Tuesday, 12 June 2012 – Juan van Deventer missed the Olympic qualifying A-Standard in the men’s 1500m by 2/100th at the Josef Odlozil Memorial in Prague, Czech Republic last night. Van Deventer needed 3:35.50 or faster in order to reach his first qualifying mark, but finished third in 3:35.52, his best time this season.
