Friday, 5 April 2013 – The first day of the three day long SA Sub-Youth, Youth, Junior and Under 23 Championships started at Pilditch stadium in Tshwane today where the best South African athletes are battling it out for the ultimate title of South African Champion.

Athletics South Africa has announced a junior team of 33 athletes to compete at the CAA Southern Region Junior Championships to take place in Windhoek, Namibia on 28 and 19 April. The date of the Championships has been moved forward and will no longer take place on 4 and 5 May.
