Du Plessis, youngest finalist in SA history

Tuesday, 24 July 2012 – At the past World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Julia du Plessis officially became the youngest South African athlete in the history of athletics to reach a final at World Junior level.

Southern Region Junior Team Announced

Athletics South Africa has announced a junior team of 33 athletes to compete at the CAA Southern Region Junior Championships to take place in Windhoek, Namibia on 28 and 19 April.  The date of the Championships has been moved forward and will no longer take place on 4 and 5 May.
