Thursday, 14 June 2012 – Caster Semenya and Khotso Mokoena competed at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku, Finland on 13 June and comfortably won in their respective events.

Van Deventer misses Olympic qualifier

Tuesday, 12 June 2012 – Juan van Deventer missed the Olympic qualifying A-Standard in the men’s 1500m by 2/100th at the Josef Odlozil Memorial in Prague, Czech Republic last night.  Van Deventer needed 3:35.50 or faster in order to reach his first qualifying mark, but finished third in 3:35.52, his best time this season.

Personal best for De Swardt in Rhede

Friday, 8 June 2012 – Jacques de Swardt clocked a new personal best of 46.06sec in the men’s 400m in Rhede, Germany on 7 June, finishing second.  His previous best (46.08sec) was set up in Germiston on 10 April 2010.

Conrad runs another PB in Montreuil-sous-Bois

The 26 year-old Nolene Conrad reached the goal she set for herself ahead of the race, when she ran a sub 16 minute race in the women’s 5000m at the Meeting Premium de la Ville de Montreuil in France last night.
