Langa will rise to the occasion when it celebrates 100 years, flourishing from a little known township to the hub of ‘excitement’ on Freedom Day, Thursday the 27th April 2023, with the running of the TymeBank Langa 10k.

This Freedom Day, we invite you to join the TymeBank Langa Athletic Club 10km #Run4Freedom! We want to celebrate the late Desmond Tutu and his fight for freedom by creating a safe space to run, in one of the oldest townships in South Africa.
A big event deserves a turnout and Langa puts on an event to attract all comers, from the housewife simply looking to finish the 10k distance, to the speedy athletes looking to post their own Personal Beats. Langa caters for all
